AVG is a fantastic Anti Virus and it has a FREE version for home users. The latest versions INCLUDE ANTI SPYWARE so you don't need to have multi software when one free product does a very good job of the lot.

The safest way to surf the internet is when using the FIREFOX internet browser. It's fast safe and has many cool tools. Remember when you first start Firefox to set it up as your default Internet browser and use it as your only browser.

Don't use "Browser Toolbars"! No such thing as a free toolbar that don't have a hidden agenda. Some of the things these toolbars do are: Report on the websites you visit, change your advertisements on your page, create pop-ups and in some cases porn advertising. It's also common that this software steals all your email contacts and sells them to people who will use it for SPAM.

I suggest you go into "Add Remove programs" in the "Control Panel" and remove such software.

Most Viruses and Spyware look in your temp Files and Browser Tracks to find information about you and passwords etc. Quick solution to this is to clean it all away every time you boot your PC. The free version of "Privacy Guardian" does a great job. This also speeds up your machine as your PC don't need to load all this info at boot into memory!

Remember to keep your computer up to date! It's so simple and FREE but so many people fail to do it. In "Control Panel" you will find "Automatic Updates". Make sure this is turned on and also make a visit to the site below:
